Objectives
Promote and provide demand driven technical education & vocational training
Re-engineer and consolidate the existing technical education and vocational training system under one management structure
Develop a dynamic technical and vocational training system to ensure horizontal & vertical mobility
Upgrade teaching abilities, skills and knowledge of teaching staff
Upgrade teaching equipment to the required standards
Assess the manpower training needs in the context of domestic & global markets
Enhance the participation of Private Sector in training activities at Management level
Study and propose changes in the existing training legislations
Establish Data Banks for skilled workers and technicians
DRESS DESIGNING & MAKING
(DDM)
DDM courses offer an opportunity to develop creativity and express oneself through design. Students must experiment with different fabrics, textures, colours, and styles to create unique designs. This creativity is essential for success in the fashion industry, where innovation and originality are highly valued.
COMPUTER INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (CIT)
The Certificate in Information Technology (CIT) is an introductory program to the exciting world of computers, where the possibilities are limited only to one’s own imagination. Information Technology is the application of computers and telecommunication systems to produce, manipulate, store, organize, retrieve, and transmit data.
FOOD TECHNOLGY (FT)
Nearly every piece of food you consume has been touched in some way by food technology, even the food you grow yourself. Food systems represent a massive industry that touches virtually everyone on the planet in some way.
